Role Models

Role Models is a hilarious film, but is not suitable for children. There are children in the movie, but the language is more graphic than what any child should hear.
One of the child stars, Bobb'e J. Thompson who plays Ronnie, is a violent and rude kid that is paired with Sean William Scott (Wheeler) after Wheeler and his friend got into some trouble and were sentenced to community service with children.
Wheeler's friend Paul Rudd (Danny) is paired with another kid, Christopher Mintz-Plasse (from Superbad fame) who plays Augie. His character is a bit dorky and awkward; he also has a fun medieval game he likes to play.
This game brings all the characters together that are having troubles and conflicts in their own lives. One example is Danny and his girlfriend Elizabeth Banks (Beth) fighting, but she becomes impressed by his performance at the game.
The end result of this movie may bring a tear to your eye, but for sure the movie will lighten your mood and make you laugh out loud.
I would not walk into the theater thinking that it is an innocent family film, because the language and content are certainly not suitable for children.
I loved it, but there was a family sitting behind me in the theater and they had young child with them. I saw the parents holding their hands over her ears to keep her from hearing the bad language.
