As the fifth film of a six part series, the massively honored documentary, known as Random Lunacy: Videos from the Road Less Traveled, is a part of the Southern Circuit Film Festival and presented by the FCCJ Artist Series.
Witness the powerful statement of individualism and the liberal approach to living life as the Neutrino family records two decades of their life on a worn-out 8mm camera. They endure adventurous journeys throughout numerous streets and at sea.
See the result of the decision to survive without the typical luxuries of the typical American family, like a physical house, to pursue a life of ultimate freedom, based on the values of self desire.
Deriving their name from a scientific term describing the constant movement of sub-atomic particles , the Neutrino family sees themselves as "an example that you can take nothing and make something great," while opening the door of "infinite possibility and excitement."
Directed by the Emmy award winning filmmakers Victor Zimet and Stephanie Silber in 1998, the film emits a different perspective of how to carryout responsibility and how to sustain family commitment through a life guided by unpredictability.
The film starts at 7 p.m. and is free to the public. For those who are interested in discussing the obscure lifestyle of Random Lunacy, a post film chat will be held with the filmmaker.
March 10 will definitely be a day of enlightenment and inspiration, so don't miss it!
